This weekend I discovered that I'm really into scarfs right now b/c not only can I use them to accessorize my outfits, but also to use as a Turban for my hair or just to protect my hair at nigh as well. I only bought 2 b/c they were on sale + I wanted to make sure that I'll actually USE them before I start buying a bunch of them in all kinds of patterns & colors. The 1st one is white with flowers on them & the 2nd is blue with retro patterns on it.
I finally bought some new conditioner today, my TWA has been needing more moisture lately so I got a family size bottle at Target & while I was in line to check out the woman getting her items scanned kept STARRING at me as if I couldn't see her right in front of me. IDK what her problem was, she was White so maybe she wasn't used to seeing Black ppl with their hair Natural in a TWA or maybe she just thought I was crazy b/c my hair was short, who knows. All I know is that it was extremely RUDE & even the cashier girl tried to get her attention & make her stop looking at me, for as long as she was starring at me you'd think she would of SAID something to me at least instead of acting like she wasn't doing it & leaving in a hurry, smh.
The PJ's I bought were really cute & my mom was mad b/c they were the only ones left & they didn't have her size, they aren't even MY size, but I got them anyway b/c they're adorable + I hope I'll grow into them.
Lastly I bought my mom her Mother's Day gift yesterday online from ELF, it's a 100 eyeshadow pallet & I got one for both of use b/c they were having a sale (buy 1, get 1 free). My mom doesn't know how to do her makeup very well & I don't either, but the difference between us is that I watch Gurus on YouTube and do my research & my mom just listens to what her friends tell her to buy and what THEY think is what you're supposed to do to get better results etc. So maybe once she has 100 shades of eyeshadows to play with maybe she'll start practising & learn what looks good for her eye shape b/c I KNOW I'll be playing with mine =)
