My Favorite Bloggers

So I’m really happy I started this blog. I like to write and to share my thoughts. Or rather, I like to inflict my views on anyone who unwittingly stumbles on my blog. And I enjoy reading other people’s blogs too. I read my friend Rina’s blog http://liveandletloose.blogspot.com/ And she actually convinced me to finally start writing a blog. I had toyed with the idea before, but she motivates me to keep going. Thanks, Rina.

We're like this, but not drugged.

I am also motivated by three other bloggers. The first blog I started following was Hyperbole and a Half, which is written by this girl (woman? Young adult?) named Allie. She usually writes about humorous events that have happened to her, and she draws pictures. Which automatically makes her way cooler than me. She likes to talk about her childhood, and my favorites include:
The God of Cake

The Party
How a Fish Almost Destroyed My Childhood
If her artwork looks familiar, it’s because people have turned this:

Into a meme. That was her work originally.

She is so funny, and she used to be really good at updating. Unfortunately, if you read her most recent blog post, she seems to have become a bit depressed. But she has so many blog posts, and she’s so funny, that it doesn’t matter that much (at least to me). I just hope she’s alright and keeps sharing her stories.
The other blogger I follow is Xiaxue. She’s an Asian blogger from Singapore, and she is also funny, but I feel like she doesn’t try to be. Hyperbole and a Half is an intentionally funny blog, while Xiaxue’s blog is considered a more lifestyle blog. She is very blunt, and she’s had a lot of plastic surgery done, which means some people are disrespectful. Which I do not get, I would rather pay for someone to get a full body surgery to change how they look than to listen to someone complain how they’re fat and ugly or whatever. She wasn’t happy with the way she looked, and she fixed it. I think her beauty shines through and through.

Also, pretty hair shines through and through.

She talks about her life, and she changes her hair a lot, and she does some advertisements, and she’s very popular, over 40,000 people view her blog every day. Her stories are very engaging. I feel like she’s a little intimidating though. She’s very honest in her opinions and feelings. Her blog is: http://xiaxue.blogspot.com/

She used to have blonde hair.

I actually found the third blogger I follow through Xiaxue. Her friend and fellow blogger Cheesie goes on trips with her, and Xiaxue mentioned her enough that I finally checked out her blog: Cheeserland, too.

She changes her name a lot but she mainly goes by Cheesie. She’s very popular also, and she posts a lot of fashion on her blog.

You can also follow both of them on Twitter and Facebook. Cheesie seems a lot more reserved compared to Xiaxue, but I think they both bring interesting stories and points of view to the world. They are also very skilled at Photoshop and take good pictures. I think it’s so interesting to read about where they have traveled and what they have done. They get a lot of free trips and sponsorships and things. And I feel that their opinions and public images carry more weight than the average persons, which is what I aspire to. I hope one day people value my opinions and I am able to express them in a much more public manner. Fingers crossed!
