Product Review: Mixed Chicks Shampoo

I've been needing some new shampoo b/c I'm almost out of my Agadir one & saw that my local BSS (Beauty Supply Store) had the Mixed Chicks Shampoo so I bought it today and have already tried it. 1st off for those who may not know "Mixed Chicks" is NOT just for people who're "mixed" it's for people with Curly, Wavy, or Kinky hair & btw I'm not mixed either =P Anyway I had no idea until I looked at their website that the shampoo I bought is their "Gentle Clarifying" shampoo b/c nowhere on the bottle did it say "Clarifying" or maybe I just skipped over it, IDK + my BSS didn't have their other shampoo in the White bottle.

Here are the Ingredients:
Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Tea Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamide MEA, Glycol Disterate, Panthenol, Avocado Oil, Silk Amino Acids, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Ginger (Zinglber Officinale) Extract, Malvasylvestris (Mallow) Extract, Borage (Borago Officinalis) Seed Oil, Cinnmidopropyl Trimonium Chloride, Polyqatermium 10, Allantoin, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Yellow #6.

My Thoughts: When I 1st poured some out into my hands the shampoo had a good consistency, it was thick but not too thick & had a light sweet fragrance that I can't really tell what it smelled like, Shea Butter maybe? Once I rubbed it through my wet hair it glided right through & wasn't stripping at all, but did leave my hair with that "clean" feeling that is sort of dry. Once I conditioned it though, there were no problems & my hair did feel a little softer after using it. I think it's a good shampoo for the price of $12 & next time will make sure to buy their Sulfate-Free shampoo since I didn't know they had one.
