I'm sure most of you have heard or seen these quotes before; I think they have a lot of meaning to them & I'm sure we can all relate to them in our own way. The first quote for me has gone threw my head thousands of times through out my life b/c people will learn my name, then since I'm nice to most people when I 1st meet them (I'm not gonna be rude to a stranger/acquaintance) they automatically think that's how I normally am & start to think they know me personally just b/c I'm being polite. Normally I don't speak to anyone unless they speak to me 1st or I need some help, I am an introvert after all. As for the "my story" part, we all have one & I'm one of those private people who keeps it to their self & nobody knows except the 2 important people that I always talk about on this blog, LOL.

As for the part about "You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through" that goes back to me keeping what I've been through (my story) to myself. Some people who've read my blog might think everything I write on here tells my story or even think it makes them know everything about me, but that's a big mistake b/c this isn't a diary & you guys are all only reading what I allow you to know about me; what I share on here I don't really care who else knows about or reads etc. b/c it's not something that's a secret + I keep all my business to myself.

If I had to guess what people have heard about me most likely they'd say "She's the girl who doesn't talk" if they were someone I went to school with b/c I hated everyone there & there was no point in talking to a bunch of ignorant people who only cared about parties where you drink until you blacked out & tried to start drama every chance they got, ugh. But if it were one of my close friends telling someone about me, they'd say "She's really animated, witty, awesome, is an otaku, fun to hang out with" the list can go on b/c the people I hang out with are the best. And if it were one of my readers telling someone about me, IDK what ya'll would say maybe "She's the girl who blogs about random stuff & has an afro/natural hair"

Now for the "So stop judging me" part, everyone thinks I'm some young 16 year old & I'm really "sweet" "innocent" must be "girly" blah, blah, blah. But in reality I'm a young adult about to start her 20's & I prefer to be around people my own age (not "close" to it), or people a little older than me or either just guys b/c females are just way too petty these days + I'm not even girly & the only girl I like to do anything with is my BFF Mimi b/c we're exactly the same ;D Also people around my age or younger will treat me/think I'm one of their little friends that they can talk to however they want & not treat me with respect. I don't care if I look young, I'm still an adult whether people want to except the fact or not + I just really hate immature people and can't stand to be around them. There is such a big difference of how people treat me when I walk out the house bare faced & when I walk out with makeup on, it's so messed up. *btw, I’m not dependent on makeup at all*

Now onto the 2nd quote "Time does not change us, it just unfolds us" for me this is the same as people thinking you've "changed" since whenever they met you (or last saw you) & in reality you haven't 'changed' at all, you've just grown up & matured since the last time you were with/saw them. I'm guilty of probably "changing" each month b/c I'm always getting into new things & wanting to learn more about it or might find something else I like & start getting into that once I'm bored of the other thing, LOL. But besides things I'm interested in, I also change by getting more mature & that's probably why I can't be around people younger than me. I'm unfolding into a great person & along the way have gotten rid of some people in my life b/c they couldn't handle growing up or maturing, it's better to get rid of them than to keep hanging around them & suffering from their ignorance.

Wish List or If I Won the Lottery

Yesterday while I was bugging William about how I really want a DSLR, he asked me if I actually had the money what would I buy besides a DSLR camera. And it was a good question b/c I would buy a LOT of things that I've been wanting, so this blog is gonna be my "Wish List" or since I'm gonna list a bunch of stuff "If I won the lottery"  And I think I'll make this a TAG, so if you're reading this please make your own Wish List blog & leave the link to it in the comments =D

Shopping Spree

The 1st thing on my list would defiantly be to go on a shopping spree; if you've seen some of my OOTD blogs then you might be able to tell that I don't have that much "nice" clothes. When I was in high school I didn't really care how I dressed & was sort of a tomboy up until my last year, IDK why it took me so long to start caring LOL. But for the shopping spree I'd go into all my favorite clothing stores at the mall & buy all types of outfits probably until no more bags could fit into my car and then do an online shopping spree as well b/c most of the clothes I really want to wear they only sell online. I'd also do a makeup/drug store spree too since I still have such a small makeup collection, haha.

Puppy

After that I would buy the dog that I've always wanted, an American Eskimo puppy!! I've never been able to have a dog of my own, each time I got the chance we ended up having to give it away. So this would be my 1st ever real pet that is actually mine & I'd spoil him/her rotten & take them everywhere I go, for some reason if it's a boy I want to name him Mako?

Modeling Career

If you've read my About Me tab on my blog, then you might of seen this coming, the next thing I'd do is start up my modeling career by hiring a good agent to help me in the industry. Go get some professional photos done to start my portfolio, take some posing lessons, go to some go sees & have someone show me the ropes etc. I'd also move to Atlanta b/c that's where all the business is near me & I'd visit William more often where he's stationed.

Photography/YouTube

I know William said stuff besides a DSLR camera, but I DO love photography & since I'd have a lot of money I'd buy the D7000 instead of the D5100 b/c not only does it take amazing photos, but it has great video quality as well, the D5100 is a beginners camera anyway but maybe I'd end up buying both b/c it does have a flip out screen & I really need that. I'd also buy a LOT of photography equipment + recording equipment/software for YouTube videos. I'd be making videos every week and posting WAY more blogs since I'd finally have a camera w/ great quality + a tripod and maybe some modeling stuff to talk about + Mako would defiantly be my practice model for my photography LOL.

Other Stuff

That's all the main stuff I can think of that I really want, but after all that I'd pay off my car & all my bills (probably will do that 1st). Get a tattoo & some piercings with William + Mimi. Go to the best salon & get my hair dyed into a deep/rich auburn color b/c it's the best shade for my skin tone + I love the color on me. Buy some decorations for my apartment & furnisher. Have a big get together with my closest friends & eat out at my favorite Japanese restaurant. Take lots of pictures with all of them & make a scrap book. Travel around the world and see all the places I've wanted to visit, etc. I'll probably think of more stuff in my head after I post this, but I think that's mostly what I'd do if I have a lot of money.

Review: The Legend of Korra, Season 1

I wish I had done a blog for each episode of LOK, but didn't know if anyone would read them or how many of you actually watch it + most people (like me) watch the video reviews of it on YouTube. But I've watched all the episodes faithfully every Saturday since the 1st episode aired & have been itching to blog about the series ever since they've had the season final last week. I'm gonna try to talk about each character in this blog, what I thought about them, what my expectations where etc. and hopefully won't ramble too much, LOL.

Korra

Korra made a great Avatar to me, I was happy to find out she was a girl b/c she's such a tomboy that I think everyone thought she was a boy when they 1st saw her; especially when they showed her as a little kid with that pot belly *LOL* I thought it was cool that she could already do 3 of the 4 elements from a young age, but got upset that she took SO long to learn Air bending! At least it was cute that "love" seemed to trigger it & made the last episode awesome. I think she needs to practise her Water bending more b/c each time she used it, I expected her to be better at it than what they showed b/c Katara taught her after all + she's the Avatar. It seems like Fire is what she's best at since she used it so much & it has to do with how physical she is, but you'd think she'd be best at Water since she's from the Water Tribe & probably learned it 1st.

Tenzin & his Family

Tenzin was a very serious character & I didn't think he seemed like his father Aang at all except for when it came to him bending and taking care of the ones he loved etc. Also since Katara is his mom WHY wasn't he MIXED?! Me & Mimi both noticed that and got upset b/c cartoons don't like to do that sort of stuff, I know that some people don't think the Water Tribe people are "Black" but whatever their race is they still have Brown skin & you'd think they'd at least let Tenzin have a tan skintone or something. I did see that the other 2 children of Aang & Katara are both "Black" or whatever, so I'm looking forward to seeing them in the 2nd season. I'm already in love with crazy Boomi.

Tenzin's wife Pema turned out to be very funny & made some funny comments + faces. IDK if they're trying to have that many kids on purpose to repopulate the Air benders or what, but I think since she's had the baby boy that she's been carrying in her stomach since the 1st episode that she's gonna stop for now & just have an even number of kids.

Their Kids: Jinora, Ikki & Meelo. Jinora seems to be very calm, mature, smart & reminds me more of Aang than the rest of her family. I also think she's Tenzin's favorite of the 3 of them or maybe he just pays more attention to her b/c she's the oldest, they do seem to act alike too though. Ikki is a big chatter box, nosey, plays 20 Q with everyone & seems like a big head ache, but she's really funny and I think she likes Korra a lot. Meelo is the craziest of the 3 kids & I think everyone who's seen the show has fallen in love with how weird he is "Be the Leaf" *LOL* I'm really glad they came up with Meelo b/c he's just fun to watch & see what crazy things he'll do next.

Mako

Mako reminded me of Zuko the whole season b/c they're both quick to get angry I guess, but at least Mako can control his better & I was excited to see that he could also shoot lightning. I was upset with him the whole season b/c he couldn't choose who he liked the most between Korra & Asami, he just liked Asami for her looks & maybe b/c she's rich, but that's all it was. He actually clicked more with Korra & they could have normal conversations w/o there being a bunch of long pauses or making each other depressed by talking about their sob stories from when they were little like Asami was doing.

I thought it was cute how Mako turned out to start showing his soft side for Korra near the end though & was really worried about her when she was going out to do things by herself + actually told her he loved her. I can't wait to see how their relationship goes in season 2.

Bolin

I fell in love with Bolin as soon as Korra met him & he defiantly reminds everyone of Sokka, except he's not as sarcastic & can actually fight *LOL* I was really hoping that Bolin would get to go out with Korra once Mako started dating Asami b/c him & Korra's personalities go way more together than Mako's. Just like with Asami, I think Korra just likes Mako for his looks + fighting skills etc. I will say that Bolin's funniest moment was when he caught Korra & Mako kissing, then started crying like a baby & ran away from the scene like a school girl *ROFL* I hope he gets to find a girlfriend in the 2nd season b/c he's a really great guy & he may not be as handsome as his older brother, but he still deserves a nice girl that'll appreciate him & Pabu.

Asami

I hated Asami as soon as she showed up & started flirting with Mako, I thought through the whole 1st season she was gonna betray everyone or do something evil, but she never did. In the last few episode she did start showing how jealous she was of Korra & started acting bitter towards Mako when he tried to talk things out with her w/o fighting. She's a good fighter, has helped Team Avatar out a lot & even took out her evil dad, but I still don't trust or like her. It may just be b/c of the makeup she wears, but I'm also reminded of Azula each time I look at her.

Chief Lin Beifong

I was shocked to find out that Lin & Tenzin used to be together, she was still bitter towards him for breaking up with her in the beginning of the 1st season, but as they started working together to help Korra etc. she started to act like more of a friend. I was happy to see she knew metal bending & had a team of metal benders to protect the city. Toph would be very proud of her, they both have their little moments where they say or do something funny (zipping Bolin's pants) & they both like to do things on their own + are great earth benders. I really want to know how she got that scare on her face & who her father is b/c I know it's not Sokka when he had Sumi.

Tarrlok

Tarrlok turned out to have a lot of surprising things that nobody knew about him or that we would of guessed, I already didn't like him b/c he was pushing for Korra to join his side etc. but once he kidnapped her that's when I started hating him for real. He's a 2 faced jerk & wanted to take over Republic City, he deserved to get his blood & water bending away from Amon b/c he just caused a bunch of problems for everyone. IDK what his deal with Tenzin is either, but was glad to see in the last episode of season 1 that he killed Amon & reveled who he really was to Korra.

Amon

Amon turned out to be a great villain for this season, he was really mysterious & I tried my best to figure out who he could of been, but to find out that he was actually Tarrlok's older brother shocked me. He was really clever to have put face makeup on to look like a scare from when "Fire benders took out his whole family" but I was confused when he took off his mask & wasn't the same complexion as he was when they showed the flashback of when him & Tarrlok were little. Maybe he bleached his skin or didn't get a lot of sun from wearing the mask all the time, IDK. But it was really crazy to find out he didn't have any "special" powers that took away peoples bending, he was just using blood bending. I loved when he got found out about being a lier, but it was also sad when his brother killed him while he was crying.

That's all the character's I'll talk about for this review, but as for the 1st season of LOK in general it was very entertaining & kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time trying to figure stuff out. I know it took 2 years to make this short season, but I'm already excited to see the 2nd season & find out what happened to all the old Avatar characters as they grew up. Glad to see that Katara is still alive BTW & really don't want to see her die b/c she's such a great character.

1. People seem to always think I'm some: sweet, girly, goody-goody girl who loves the color pink etc. Just from judging me by my face/appearance, but I HATE pink & girly things. I'm more of an Alternative type of person, who loves edgy things.

I' started blogging in 9th grade on Yahoo360 b/c I was excited about starting high school & wanted to share everything that happened. Then I started posting my blogs on TOKYOPOP b/c I had friends on there & they liked reading my blogs b/c they felt real to read + were funny. Once those two websites got shut down I started using Tumblr to blog & when people were having a hard time finding what I had typed, that's when I made a Blogger & have found it even more fun to blog now since I've found other people who have the same hobby as me =D

I like to match my clothes with my personal taste & personality, so I'd say I dress pretty Edgy & Alternative; but I can also dress like a Diva, Model or Cute. It just depends on my mood, but I'd have a really great clothes closet if I had money *LOL*

I'd live somewhere near the beach & city b/c I love both.

I Got my Industrial Piercing!!

I've been wanting an Industrial Piercing since I was in 10th grade & finally got one today, I already have a barbell in my cartilage on my right ear, so I got it done on my left ear. I know everyone is gonna ask "Did it HURT?" & really it all depends on your pain tolerance, but for me it only hurt for just a few second when she was sticking the needle in & it felt like a dog was biting my ear or something. It was a good experience though b/c the woman who pierced me was really nice & told me I was a "Tough Cookie" LOL & then when it was over she told me "Welcome to the Industrial Piercing Club!"

If you want to get an industrial piercing & where to get one, you need to go to a Tattoo Shop b/c they don't do it in the mall. Most of the time it'll cost about $40 to get one done b/c it's considered 2 piercings, just make sure you go to a good shop. And as for how long it takes to heal: 6-12 months, but I can switch the barbell out after 4-6 weeks.

For After Care you should be given some sort of spray with sea salt in it, I was given a Natural Saline Spray & told to spray it on 2-3 times a day & clean my piercing with a Q-tip. Make sure not to touch it at all while it's healing & keep your hands clean. Also don't sleep on the side where you got the piercing, which sucks for me b/c I roll in my sleep =P

If you want to know more I'm sure you can look it up on YouTube or ask inside a Tattoo Shop, but that'll all I know at the top of my head. I really like Body Jewelry more than regular earring b/c for One: I'm allergic to the metal Nickle, Two: Body jewelry is cheaper, so you can buy a LOT more of it & it's easier to replace, Three: It matches my style better b/c I really love Edgy stuff & Four: They have so many different designs to choose from that are so Unique ^__^

My new Addiction: Magic Tree

I'm not that big on games & don't even play that many since I only own a DS Light, but last night I found one of the best app games EVER!! Magic Tree is a super fun game with really cute anime graphics; I was the most excited about the different choices they have for you to choose from when creating your character b/c most games will forget about the different Skintones we all have, but I found a good shade similar to mine in the game.

This is the girl in the game that helps you learn everything, once you see her village when you visit her you'll be jealous. But she's really sweet & helps you out a lot.

 

This is my village in the game, you can raise farm animals & trade them for cool stuff after they're grown.

This is my village zoomed out, you get to live on a floating rock in the sky all to your self

You can also be neighbors with ppl & help each other out in the game

There aren't just "farm" animals in the game either, you can see ALL kinds! I'm only level 5 right now, but so far I've seen a Bear & a cute Fox (look in your Collection book in the game to see all the animals you can find), you don't have to fight all of them either, you can choose to raise them & then they wont try to attack you anymore or eat the stuff you grow.

You can grow all kinds of weird stuff in this game, FarmVille has met its match~

The game is still pretty new & that's why not a lot of ppl know about it yet, but I'm spreading the word b/c the game really is awesome + I want more ppl to play with ^__^ There are a few times when the game will get slow or freeze, but I'm sure they're gonna update it soon & it'll be one of the top game apps in no time.

I need Glasses?

Yep, I went to the eye doctor last week b/c my vision has been a little blurry lately & they said I'm Near Sited =P It's no big deal b/c my prescription is very light & I only have to wear the glasses for important stuff like: Driving, Reading, being on the Computer etc. They're not gonna "fix" my eyes or anything if I keep wearing them all the time, but since I wear my Geek/Nerd glasses all the time as an accessory I'm already used to them after getting them today.

The best part about getting these glasses though, is that they're Vogue ^__^ I'm sure by now after seeing my Swimsuit & Sun Hat blogs that ya'll can tell I have a High Fashion sense of taste, LOL. I guess that's what happens when you've watched ANTM all your life & still want to be a Model even though they're no agencies around where you live. But I also have noticed that these glasses make me look older & that's a good thing b/c I have a Baby Face + since I haven't been wearing makeup this summer, they're good to wear as a replacement for my eyeshadow.

I love the case for some reason, probably b/c it's not ugly & isn't one of those magnetic snapping ones.

They look much better in person, but trust me they're NICE~

What's in my Beach Bag + Pictures

I went to the beach this weekend & thought it'd be fun to do the "What's in my Beach Bag" TAG that everyone is doing on YouTube. It was my 1st time wearing my new swimsuit that William bought me & also my 1st time going there with my natural hair; in the end I only had one person staring at me & I think it was just b/c she was jealous or a hater. Anyway I'll get right on to the TAG & explain things as I show the pictures.

My beach bag can hold a LOT of stuff, just FYI

Sun Dress/Cover Up, I love dresses like this for the beach or going to the pool b/c they're cute & easy to take off and put back on.

My fancy swimsuit, don't mean to brag but I can guaranty you I was the one with the best bikini at the beach LOL.

Flip Flops, the gold straps matched the chains on my swimsuit.

My Lion King beach towel, I've had this since I was 2 (I think) & it's my favorite beach towel I have.

Sunscreen so I don't get sunburn (doesn't matter if you're Black or already dark, everyone can get it). Water so I can stay hydrated & not get heat stroke. Deodorant for when I leave the beach or get sweaty. Boom Box/Speaker for my iPod in case I want to listen to music. And an Umbrella in case it rains or I can stick it on a beach chair.

I was too busy soaking up the sun to take any good pictures, but I did get a little darker & the only way I could really tell was b/c the light area where I always arch my eyebrows was gone. Since my swimsuit had chains holding it together it didn't leave any tan line at all, so I guess that's good =)
