Refreshing

Saturday was a REFRESHING day!  We had no plans so we spent the entire day (from 9 am to 7:30 pm) outside playing in the water!

It was our first day of summer break and it was REFRESHING to have no plans!

I had to take this picture because it made me laugh.  Maddie picked her clothes out for church Saturday night.  She put them on the couch so Chris could iron them.  That is exactly what I do every night!

Rock Stars

Uncle Bob and Aunt Carol were in town for Jacob's graduation.  Ty and Maddie get super excited when they come to visit.  It's like they are rock stars!

Maddie prepared dinner for everyone in her kitchen.  She passed it out to everyone.  Maddie gave Aunt Carol a piece of lettuce but Aunt Carol told Maddie she didn't want that she wanted something else.
Maddie said, "You get what you get and don't throw a fit!"

Where Have You Been (All My Life)

Can I just say that Rihanna's new music video blew my mind? Where Have You Been was just amazing. I was very happy that she decided to dance in this. I do hate all the comparisons to Beyonce though. They're black and they dance and so they're the same? I mean, they're both singers, but their styles are completely different, but everything I look at is all, "Rihanna took a page out of Beyonce's book". Shut up media people. They are different. And they are both amazing. And I love this music video, so there. A few pictures, because everything in this video was amazing:

When she started dancing I was so happy. And I love her clothes throughout this, especially this outfit. It's so colorful. 

I love all the different styles she goes through in this video, and I want her hair! I've always wanted an afro, but I'm white and Asian, among other things, so that would just look weird. 

This is beautiful cover art, and I like the flowers all around her. Again her hair changes, and Rihanna looks so pretty no matter what. 

I also like all the filming and effects they had, like when she multiplied. And the golden flecks around her face makes her look like Wonder Woman. It was so pretty, and just as detailed as all her other videos. I didn't realize this earlier, but she's made six albums in six years and hasn't taken a break. She came to America from Barbados, and she hasn't stopped. 

My Boyfriend/Fiance: William

I always mention my boyfriend/fiance in my blogs & since he doesn't have any social networks or even uses the Internet that much, I can't link ya'll to him anywhere so I'll do my best to describe him in this blog & hopefully later on you'll meet him in some YouTube videos or he'll make a Tumblr or something =P

To start off William is a Military Brat just like me & his birthday is April 2nd, so when he tells ppl his birthday is tomorrow on April 1st they don't believe him b/c they think it's an April Fools joke, LOL poor William. He's only 5 months older than me & 5'11, but since I wear high heels all the time ppl think I'm either taller than him or the same height as him (I'm 5'6).

I met him in my 10th grade year of high school & he had Theatre with me, just like Mimi he was an Actor & was in a lot of our school plays while I was backstage crew/Tech Team. Even though we've been friends since 10th grade, we didn't start dating until my 2nd semester of 12th grade & it was official on November 11th, 2010. A lot of ppl at our high school didn't think we'd be a "good couple" but that's only b/c they didn't know either of us as well as they thought they did + I don't talk about my personal relationships with a bunch of people, just a very few of my close friends.

William is a US Marine & once he's out wants to go to college for a Theatre major, but things could change so don't hold him to it. He hasn't been deployed yet, but when he does he'll be going to Afghanistan & he's just ready to get it over with. He has a low tolerance for ignorance, immaturity & BS, so don't let your friends that play too much around him or things will get ugly.

William is also an Otaku, but likes more of the Action & War animes than the Romance/Comedy that I watch. Like I've said in my Kawaii Haul blog, his favorite animal is a Polar Bear & I've gotten him 3 bears so far. Even though he can be mean sometimes, he's really sweet too & always holds the door open for ppl in public + uses his manners when he remembers to. He also curses a lot, but that's something you have to get used to if you don't like it b/c it comes automatically to him & most people in the marines for some reason.

He plays PS3 & likes to fight with his friends like guys always do for some odd reason. Even though he PT's a lot, he still eats like a fat kid & doesn't care. He has a bad memory b/c of his ADHD & gets side tracked a lot too. If you saw him in person you'd defiantly label him as "Emo" b/c all he wears is Black & Skulls, but I'll start dressing him better once we live together ;P

There's a lot more I could say about William, but I'm gonna stop here & hopefully have covered all the major things about him for ya'll. If you'd like to know anything else just ask~
