Happy Belated Birthday Dr. Seuss

Friday was Dr. Seuss's birthday, but at the Garber household it wasn't celebrated until Sunday.
I had left most of my Dr. Seuss books at school. So we had to listen to The Cat in the Hat on the computer.
Then it was time to start the birthday party. First, we made an edible Cat in the Hat.

Ty's Cat in the Hat
Maddie's Cat in the Hat
Of course, eating everything was the best part!

Next, we played Pin the Green Eggs and Ham on the Plate.
It was a spin-off of Pin the Tail on the Donkey.
They loved it!
I wish you could hear them laugh!

Preparing

Saturday night we went to the Japanese Steakhouse for Mimi's birthday. Ty and Maddie had been there before but not since last summer. I figured they had forgotten what it would be like and I didn't want them to get scared, so Chris showed them some YouTube videos to prepare them.

Friday

Maddie and Ty wanted to wear some TV gear to school on friday.

They love each other and the Dawgs!

Sick Day

Maddie and Ty have been battling a cold for forever and a day! Well, the cold turned into a double ear infection for Ty and pneumonia for Maddie.
Therefore, they had to stay home from the babysitter's for 24 hours.
Chris stayed home with them.
I think they managed to have some fun too!

When I came home (after a 12 hour day thanks to parent-teacher conferences), Maddie and Ty were wired and Chris was exhausted!

Lady Dawgs

The Lady Dawgs made it to the Districts and then they played at Zanesville.
We went to cheer them on!
For the first half, Ty sat right beside Chris and watched the game.
The second half we sat on Chris's lap and watched the game.

Maddie wanted to know why the girl's game was so quiet. At timeouts she got down to dance and cheer. I guess she got a little bored and had to get her stickers out.
I am not sure how these pictures got into this post but.....A few weeks ago, Ty had two doctor appointments at Children's. Between appointments Ty and Daddy needed to eat breakfast.
When I asked Maddie to smile for the picture, she immediately went into her cheerleading poses.
A conversation the other night....
Chris: Maddie, if I buy you whatever you want when you turn 18, will you be a basketball player?
Maddie: How about when I am 4?
Chris: Ok, when you are 4 I will buy anything you want. Will you play basketball?
Maddie: NO! I am a cheerleader.

Last Weekend

I forgot a few pics from last weekend at Ma's.
Carson and Maddie spent a lot of time building.
Then Ty the Destructor would come along and knock it down.
Ty helped Ma make waffles for breakfast.
He loves to cook!

Classes & Crafts

Hello! I just started my new classes this week. Online classes are worse than I thought they would be! Before the class officially started, my professor emailed me and told me to have two sites coded, designed, and working within three days. It had been such a long time since my last design course, since I decided to get all my general classes out of the way. Coding is so much work(;´・ะด・)
Anyway, I ended up making the sites, but the next eight weeks are going to drive me crazy! Not to mention, things that I'm buying on ebay are not getting sent, I was looking forward to some dresses. Gosh.

Here's some color practice I did tonight after reading all the manga I could possibly read. On to some pictures of an outfit I put together

 Dress: Milky-chan replica
Cardigan: F21
Boots: Bodyline.

Finally figured out how to curl my hair this week, too! .\

Here's my Princess compact mirror, I got the charms at the local craft store. Oddly enough I notice some people take the castle one, glue it on the back of a ring, and call it "brand". Huh.

I also bought this little craft kit from Toys R Us, I gave the purple one to my boyfriend and it broke the same day.
Aside from these few crafts, it's been a boring week.
~Till next time~
