Maddie: Daddy, what do you wish for?
Daddy: For you and Ty to grow up to be big, healthy, and happy.

Decorating

Since it was a rainy Sunday, our plans got changed. We were planning on going to the zoo to see the lights with four other families. Instead we stayed home and began the decorating the house for Christmas.
I am not trying to skip over Thanksgiving but we will be traveling next weekend.
Maddie performed some Christmas cheers too.
The lights and ornaments are on the tree.

Ty modeling the reindeer headband.

Then Maddie put hers on.
Then she found a puppet too.
BB found a pink and blue tree for Maddie and Ty to put in their bedroom. However, they wanted to put them in the family room instead.
Ty trimming his blue tree.
Maddie picked out a special pink butterfly ornament out for her tree at Wal-Mart tonight.
Ty admiring his tree after taking a bath.
I thought this was so cute....they are just staring at their trees after their bath.

At bedtime tonight they asked if Santa was coming tonight. They were pretty disappointed when I explained that he would not be coming for like 30 sleeps!

Bryan's Home

Bryan is home this week from Illinois. Ty and especially Maddie were so happy to see him!
They were all over him. Ty wanted to play Angry Birds on his phone.
Bryan is a typical college student....tired. Maddie even wanted to spend time with him when he was napping.
They were so cute with Bry. Maddie is reading on him while Ty is trying to give him something all while Bry is trying to catch up on his sleep.

Big Birthday

Tracey turned 4o in October. Mom and I celebrated her birthday this weekend in Columbus. We stayed two nights at Easton.
Saturday we spent the day at the spa....facial, pedicure, manicure, and massage!
Saturday night we had dinner at Tracey's favorite restaurant, the Japanese Steakhouse. Mom's best friend, Dianne, who Tracey was named after, had dinner with us.
We did a lot of shopping too. We even went back to Easton and shopped after dinner. It was the perfect weekend.....shopping, eating, pampering, and we even exercised every day!
However, the best part was coming home Sunday morning. Two nights is a LONG time to be away from Ty and Maddie.

Ty was pretty excited to see me. I think he shed some tears over the weekend for me.
A big welcome home hug! It will be quite some time before I leave these two again!

For the record......
Tracey and I are not twins!
I am not older than Tracey!
At the spa I think the ladies were trying to be really nice to Tracey and make her feel younger by asking me if I was her twin and then asking who was older!
Interesting Fact...
The lady that gave Tracey her manicure and pedicure went to Wilmington College. Small world!

Braxton's 4th Birthday

A huge group of Braxton's friends celebrated his birthday with him. However, I was celebrating Aunt Tracey's birthday so I missed the party. Chris took Ty and Maddie.
It looks like Ty is opening B's present.

Happy Birthday Brax!

Before Dinner

Thursday night is dinner with the Brownrigg's. This week's dinner was at our house. Hudson is patiently waiting for dinner to be ready.
The other three were watching some Mickey Mouse thing on You Tube.
It must have been pretty interesting.
I didn't take any pictures after dinner because they were wild! This was the calm before the storm.
