Back to School

Chris and I had teacher meetings today. Ty and Maddie went to Lynda's. They love it at Lynda's and always want to stay longer when I get there to pick them up!

Columbus Clippers

It was Jessi's birthday on Sunday. Tony got her a new camera and camera bag!

Fair Time

We met the Brownriggs and the Knowltons at the Muskingum County Fair to check out the animals and the rides.Ty keeping a close eye on the pigs.

Ella and Maddie loved the fair. Ashley and I joked about finding them a bench to sit on so they could people watch.

Meet the Teacher

Ty and Maddie got to go meet their preschool teacher tonight! They are going to Bright Beginnings again this year. However, they have moved from the toddler room to preschool. In addition, they are staying all day (lunch and nap!) rather than half days.

They are quite pleased to be in the same room again. Miss Kim asked if they should nap side by side. I just smiled and said she could try that if she wanted!

BIrdies

The bird exhibit has become Ty and Maddie's favorite ever since a bird pooped on Chris. Feeding the birds necter is always a must! We spent a lot of time with the birds today. Maddie and Ty both were brave enough to feed them this visit. Maddie had no fear at all. Ty was a little nervous at first then changed his mind quickly. He even tried to pet one! I about had a heart attack! Ty will tell you that a birdie bit him but that is false!

August Zoo Trip

We fit in a zoo visit before school starts. Once school starts we will have to visit on the weekend with all the crowds!

Ty wanted to see the polar bears first so we did. Obviously, we enjoyed watching them swim in the water, wrestle with each other, and play with their yellow ball.

So we didn't see as many animals today as we usually do....it's slow going when everyone wants to walk and no one wants to ride in the stroller.

Pretty cool to see a tiger up close and personal, right?

Apparently not, Maddie was hiding behind me and Ty was holding on to my leg for dear life!

Then they made friends with a different type of tiger.

Dirt

Tiff brought the boys over to play. Hudson was pretty content just watching Braxton, Maddie and Ty play (and get in trouble!).

For some reason, they wanted to dig in the dirt. Chris would only let them dig in certain spots in the yard.
