Dress Up

Santa brought Maddie and Ty some new costumes for dress up.Maddie said she was dressed up as Cinderella.
Ty was a jeanie, not in a bottle.
cheer time
Maddie put on her cheerleading outfit and Ty went and got a skirt of Maddie's to wear. Of course, it didn't fit.
Maddie wears her cheerleading outfit to every TV game.
Then Maddie found her OSU cheerleading outfit that would fit Ty better.
Oops! Ty needs some bloomers to cover his underoos!

FAQ

Q. I SIGNED UP FOR A PULP CARD AGES AGO - WHERE IS IT?

Due to huge demand there is a delay with Pulp Cards being delivered at the moment. Usually Pulp Cards take about 4 weeks to arrive through the post however it is taking quite a few months at the moment. Please sit tight - it is on the way to you! We are doing everything possible to clear this backlog.

Q. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A PULP CARD?

You can usually sign up online. However due to the backlog we are not currently accepting any applications at this time. We'll update on our website and Facebook page when we are.

Q. I SIGNED UP FOR A PULP CARD BUT IT HASN'T ARRIVED YET. CAN I STILL GET PRIORITY WRISTBANDS FOR THE SIGNINGS?

Unfortunately you need to have the actual Pulp Card to get priority wristbands as we have to scan each one in store when allocating wristbands. Only one wristband per Pulp Card per signing. You are welcome to come the day after the priority ones are given out when wristbands will be open to everyone however there is a risk that there might not be any left. See our events section on Facebook for more details http://www.facebook.com/thisispulp?sk=events

Q. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SIGNING UP FOR A PULP CARD? ARE THEY FREE?

Yes Pulp Cards are free and there is no age limit. Benefits include:

Q. CAN I TAKE WRISTBANDS FOR MY FRIENDS?

Unfortunately you can’t take a wristband for anyone else, its one wristband per person and these have to be put on you by a member of staff in store.  Our signings are free events and our wristband system stops people taking wristbands and selling them on. The wristbands are given out for a number of days before each signing to give everyone a chance to get them, they work on a first come first served basis and PULP card holders get priority (they can pick them up a day earlier than everyone else)

Q. CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP A
 WRISTBAND FOR ME?

Unfortunately you can’t get someone else to pick you up a wristband, it’s one wristband per person and these have to be put on you by a member of staff in store for the same reasons as shown above

Q.WHY DO I NEED A WRISTBAND? WHY
CAN’T I JUST TURN UP ON THE DAY?

Signings are wristband only events, people who turn up on the day will only be admitted entrance with a valid wristband.  Each signing only has a limited number of people allowed to attend due to store Health and Safety regulations.  Also the bands only have a limited amount of time, the signings only last for an hour therefore our system ensures all wristband holders get to meet the band.

Happy New Year

We spent New Year's Day at home...with 21 guests!
Maddie wanted her pig tails in again today! I got a little fancy and added bows. Crazy, I know.
Uncle Bob, Richy, and his girlfriend

Papa tickling Maddie.
The Zemba Crew
BB and her boy
BB stopped by for just a few minutes.....I think she was only here for 6 hours!
Chris and Aunt Carol
Maddie was wild today! She didn't have a nap but never slowed down. At bedtime, we had to say two prayers because the first one was too short according to Maddie. I had to interrupt the second prayer with an "amen" because it was getting really long!
Ty talking to Michelle on Uncle Adam's phone. He wanted to know why she wasn't here!
Jacob and Ty playing on the iPad.
Maya helping Ty dunk.
Ty spinning the ball with Daddy.
Ty fixed Matt's hair. Now Matt can go back to Northwestern tomorrow.
Ty giving Emma a hug.
Dangerous Duo
Maya, Aunt Lala, Emma, Maddie, Ty and me
Ty loves his Aunt Carol. We just wish she lived closer!

What a day....lots of visitors, lots of food, lots of laughter, and lots of football! If this is an indication of how 2012 is going to go, it is going to be an amazing year!

Pray for Paxton

I need you to say an extra prayer tonight. My high school friend, Dustin, and his wife have a 2 year old son who is in the ICU at Children's Hospital. Paxton had a feeding tube put in last week and has had many complications since then. His grandma (my mom's good friend and my high school guidance counselor) was in Alaska visiting her other son while all of this was going on. Please pray that she returns to Ohio safely, and that Paxton has a quick recovery. Also, pray for Paxton's parents who are hurting too. I know the power of prayer and appreciate your help!

Super Hero Eve

New Year Eve's festivities began with 5:00 mass.
Maddie is sporting pig tails for the first time! She was so excited to have pig tails in the back rather than in the front.
This is a big deal! She asks questions all the time about when her hair will get long!
Ty is modeling the sweater Uncle Adam and Michelle gave him for Christmas.
Then we went to the Brownrigg's for dinner and to play with every single toy in the play room!
The kids were super heros all night!
Look how big Hudson is getting! We still love to cuddle.
Ty tooting his noise maker. Can you believe Tiff purchased those?
Liam and Maddie
Hudson and Nate

Of course, we rang in the new year in bed! 2011 was a wonderful year in the Garber house. Chris and I count our blessings daily for our precious children, unconditional love and support from our families, jobs we love, and friends who are there for us through the thick and the thin. I have a feeling 2012 will be even better!
