Two Cute

Just a few random pictures that I took during the week. Maddie and Ty eating cereal out of a box. Why not?

I got out the spring decorations this week. I found their bunny ears!

I found Ty and Maddie resting in the bedroom together. This is a rare moment for a couple of reasons...one, they are actually resting and two, no one was beating on the other one.

Riding in a Truck

After gymnastics, we took advantage of the sunshine and headed outside to play. Maddie and Ty haven't played with their truck much since it has been raining and snowing.
Maddie does all the driving since Ty can't reach the pedals yet. She might give him whiplash while learning to become a proficient driver!
They drove all around the yard and only got stuck a few times in the mud.
A sign that spring is coming...thank goodness because Ty has had a fever since Tuesday night. I took him to the doctor Wednesday and nothing was wrong with him! I called the doctor on Friday when he still had a fever and he said he just has a virus and there is nothing to do but treat the fever.
Maddie showing off her knee where she bit it in the yard. No, it wasn't warm enough for her to have on capris, but I chose not to fight that battle today.
Ty found an acorn.
Our yard is full on acorns and we were checking them out.
We were comparing and contrasting two different acorns...just kidding...who knows what I was telling him!
Back to driving
all around the yard
while listening to some tunes.Ty and Maddie had to check out the bed of the truck too.
Maddie wanted to swing. She swung for a long time. She was trying to avoid a nap!

Sunday

Maddie actually picked out her outfit for church today after I set some guidelines. I was surprised that she wanted to wear a hat. I have tried to get her to wear this hat for months and she has shown zero interest! At first, she didn't want me to take a picture so she turned her back. (Don't mind the mess in the hallway. Starting at 6 am we were ripping into birthday boxes and opening the rest of the toys that didn't get opened last night. Earlier it was raining in the hallway, that's why the umbrella was up!)

Then Maddie turned around and said, "Cheese." Whenever she says, "Cheese" her eyes diappear.

Ty giving Maddie a big hug before we head to church.

I feel like I have been blogging about Ty's bad mood a lot lately, so, I have to report that he was super happy today and even stayed in church for the entire service. No cry room today!

The Gym Party

Ty, Maddie and lots of their friends and family helped celebrate their 3rd birthday at Nashport. We used the gym and set it up so that the kids could run and play.

There were 2 bounce houses to jump in.

Emma looking cute as always.

Gray is serious about his ball.

Ty was not crazy about playing in the gym which shocked me. Maybe he was overstimulated. However, he did like the maze.

Action shot of Ryan after he knocked down a pyramid of buckets on a scooter.

Carson and Logan came to the party too. They were so busy I didn't even talk to them until they left.

Reese looking adorable while watching all the kids.

Carson's action shot

Carter playing ball with his mommy.

Ty and Maddie playing ball.

After eating pizza and fruit kabobs, it was time to sing Happy Birthday.

Ty didn't like the singing too much. He liked being serenaded at breakfast much better.

I decided to be cheap and make the cupcakes myself. I made 48 cupcakes for less than $7! I didn't eat one, but I heard they were good.

Tiff with Cami, Brax, and Kenna watching Maddie and Ty open gifts.

Chris showing off Maddie's Hello Kitty nightgown.

Even at 3, she still is giving hugs...thank goodness!

BB made Ty and Maddie each three new Tri-Valley shirts. You have probably noticed that in every post, Ty and Maddie are wearing their TV shirts. They are obsessed with them and we only have a few. I have to wash them constantly. Maddie even sleeps in her t-shirts.

Maddie looked a little worn out at the end of the night. She has on the boy's party gift, a yellow head band, while holding the girl's party gift, pom poms.

Overall, I think it was a successful birthday party!! The kids all played wonderfully together, there was just the right amount of food (2 pieces of pizza left, no fruit, and five cupcakes), and Ty and Maddie said they had a blast....can't beat that!

The 3rd Birthday

Since it was Ty and Maddie's birthday and party day, we had to start opening gifts and celebrating the moment they awoke (5:55 am!).

Maddie got a pair of TV pom poms.

Ty got a new basketball.

Then after a pancake breakfast at Applebee's and gymnastics, it was time to see their big gift... a Ford F-150 Power Wheels truck.

Ty looked a little surprised to see it!

And so did Maddie!

Maddie is changing the radio station...atleast she wasn't texting while driving!

Sam I Am

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, we read Green Eggs and Ham.....

again and again.

Then Daddy made green eggs and ham for dinner.

It is hard to tell but, the ham was green too.

Ty loved the meal and even had seconds.

Maddie kept saying we were having "Sam I Am" for dinner and calling everyone Sam.

I have to admit, other than reading the book, I didn't do much for Dr. Seuss's birthday. I left Chris and Mimi with the kids while I went for a run and to Zumba.
